About Griffin's Journey
We chose the Buffalo as a symbol of this journey and the phrase “Into the Storm” because buffalos unlike other animals turn into a storm rather than drift with it as they instinctively know that walking into the storm will get them out of the weather quicker.
This is symbolic of the journey Griffin is walking. The bone marrow transplant is the only thing that can cure him of his disease. It’s going to be a difficult road but we are heading straight into it for sunnier skies on the other side.
