About This Campaign

It is that sense of family and community that we at Whiskey Kitchen have held so close to our hearts and have worked to incorporate into our business. As a way of paying homage to those who came before us, as a way of giving thanks to those who are risking their lives to save our lives, and to thank those who literally SAVED my life on 11/20/15, Whiskey Kitchen will be donating 50% of the proceeds from this campaign to the Wake County EMS.

With the purchase of a t-shirt, you will be supporting those supporting us, while helping to make sure that after COVID-19, we all will have a restaurant to come back to

About Whiskey Kitchen

Whiskey Kitchen is a chef’s barroom; featuring inspired southern dishes with a focus on ingredients sourced from all over North Carolina, an impressive, well thought out cocktail list, and a whiskey program boasting over 400 whiskies. We are located in a nearly one hundred year old building, across the street from beautiful Nash Square in downtown Raleigh, and in 1976 became Wake County’s first public EMS station. When chef/co-owner Michael Thor got into a paralyzing motorbike accident, had it not been for the quick action of the EMS team that got to him, he would not have survived. The accident sent Thor to ATL to recover and could have derailed the entire project, but with the fantastic team at Whiskey Kitchen, and the Raleigh community’s innate instinct to help and protect their own; Thor was able to return to a new, beautiful, thriving family.
