On January 7, 2020,  Bonita received a lifesaving double lung transplant from the at Duke Hospital in Durham, NC with the help of the National Foundation for Transplants.  

Now that she has received her transplant, her fight to a full recovery is only just beginning. Just one day after her transplant, her support team is already getting her up and walking. Bonita is determined to recover and live her second chance at life to the fullest! But she still needs your help, and through the purchase of this shirt you can help her on her way to a full recovery.
